Dance into joy at our Disco Dance Flow Yoga Brunch! Celebrate movement and rhythm with an invigorating dance flow session that will energize your body and elevate your spirits. Afterward, savor a scrumptious brunch filled with vibrant, seasonal goodies that will tantalize your taste buds. Whether you're a dance devotee or you think you’ve got two left feet!, this fun-filled gathering is all about good vibes, laughter, and connecting with new friends. The sequence is easy to learn and follow, its about getting out of the mind and into the body, so bring your groove, soak up the disco ball, and let's brunch our way into joy together! 75 minute Energising Yoga Practice
We'll kick things off with a gentle warm-up intended to spark buoyancy and inspiration. From there, get ready to twirl through a series of uplifting, feel-good moves. Think flowy sequences that open our hearts and unleash that playful spirit! to some great disco classics!
Then I will start to teach you a fun and energising choreographed sequence set to one catchy song -Young Hearts Run Free Candi Staton - a well-known hit that is sure to get you moving and feeling fantastic!
Past dance flows I have taught include the iconic "Don't Speak" by No Doubt, the mesmerizing "Angel" by Massive Attack, the powerful "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone, and the timeless classic "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac.
This sequence is designed to be easy to learn and follow along with; it’s not really about nailing technical dance moves, but rather about moving your body in a way that feels absolutely amazing! By immersing yourself in this set sequence and learning it really well, you will find that when the time comes to “perform”, you can truly let go of your thoughts and get into your body, embracing the pure joy of movement!
side note - when I say perform I just mean I play the music really loud on repeat and we just flow it out on our mats to our hearts content, we perform for ourselves, no one else …
As we slide into the mellow, second half of our session, we’ll ease things down with some soothing, restorative flows. Cozy dances like a gentle sway in Child’s Pose or a tender Supported Bridge will invite a beautiful sense of calm and reflection.
To wrap it all up, we'll dive into a delightful guided meditation where we’ll set our intentions and soak in the vibrant energy buzzing around us. Come ready to move, laugh, and soak up the spirit of fun as we groove together in this lighthearted celebration!
